This Waxahachie/Lancaster matchup had prospects getting to it at the highest level with several college coaches taking notice of the players on the floor.
The GASO guys also got together to record another GASOCast to hit on all the names and storylines they’re seeing in the high school ranks so far this season.
GASO Top 25 Rankings: Dec. 14 Update
The latest batch of top 25 rankings are posted below, including a recap of talking points and notes for each classification.
6A Breakdown:
For the first time this season, no major changes to the 6A top 25.
It’s a little bit of settling in, a little bit of district play beginning, but for the most part I think we have tiers starting to emerge in the upper echelon of the classification. (But I won’t spoil what those are, you’ll just have to wait til 2024 and the return of regional power rankings!)
Some movement to note in the rankings though was Shadow Creek jumping back up to no.14 after winning the Cy Hoops, while Denton Braswell made a similar push up the rankings to slot in at no.16 this week.
5A Breakdown:
The new top dogs in Fort Bend Marshall haven’t let us down yet, still holding onto their undefeated record at 16-0 to sit atop the 5A top 25.
