GASO’s Top Dogs
It’s one of the most important questions we get during the evaluation process, and one of the most prodigious honors we can bestow on a prospect during their time as a HS player. So even though a new batch of rankings aren’t due out for a few months, we decided to use this week’s newsletter to lift the curtain on our selection process for the no.1 player in each class.
While we eventually reach a consensus, each individual contributor may have their own personal number 1 prospect; and that’s what subscribers are able to see in this issue.
So below we’ll get into the candidates for the top spot in each returning varsity class (2025, 2026, 2027) and why each of our evaluators believes they deserve the no.1 ranking.
